Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration (AVRR) counselling
AVRR counselling provides assistance to (former) asylum seekers in Europe who decide to return voluntarily to their countries of origin.
1. Pre-departure counselling

Open and unbiased counselling (providing country-specific information, discussing perspectives in host country and country of return, developing future prospects)

Funding of travel expenses (flight ticket and initial financial assistance)

- Psycho-social follow-up care through local reintegration partner
- Financial assistance for small-income generating activity

Objectives of the project

Connect return and reintegration counsellors on a European level

Provide exchange platforms such as workshops and conferences for return and reintegration counsellors, reintegration service providers and politicians

Offer firsthand information about the country of return through reintegration partners

Improve counselling quality through region-specific training on relevant topics

Collect information and counselling tools and distribute them to European AVRR counselling offices
